(From GymSask...) The following QCK gymnasts were among 11 of 25 who achieved passing scores (75% or higher) in Level 1 of the STEP testing held Feb. 6 at Saskatoon's Marian Gym Club. Congratulations to all participants.
Madison Zwarych 79.4%
Brooke Mead 75.3 %
Coach's Comments...
Lennea McLellan - had an amazing day. She scored a personal best on the rope and successfully completed her bridge kick-over for the first time on testing day. Congratulations Linnea!!!
Brooke Mead - was a very focused contender on Sunday. She amazed the judges with both her right and left leg splits all the way down. Brooke also showed off her talents by being one of the most agressive athletes on the beam. Way to go Brooke!!!
Madison Zwarych - was a strong competitor in her first STEP testing. Madison made personal bests on both Rope Clinb and Chin-Ups whe she scored a remarkable 5 chin-ups in 10 seconds. Good work Madison!!!
